Anna Franitza

Anna Franitza was born and raised near Stuttgart in southern Germany. Taking an interest in international education, she completed a B.Ed. in international primary education at Stenden University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, and thereupon commenced teaching positions in Kuwait and the Czech Republic. In the Czech Republic, Anna could make first experiences at delivering the PYP which resonated strongly with her beliefs about teaching and learning. Consequently, Anna obtained an M.Ed. in the International Baccalaureate with specializations in the PYP and MYP through the University of Melbourne in Australia whilst teaching in Russia. This is Anna’s third year of teaching the PYP at ISE. She has simultaneously earned a postgraduate certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages through the University of Derby. Anna speaks German, English, and Dutch. In her free time, she enjoys reading, mindfulness, going on walks, and spending time in nature.
