Edna Vahter

Edna Vahter is a visual art teacher originally from Estonia and has been teaching art at ISE for over 20 years. She is also Associate Professor of Art Teaching Didactics in Baltic Film, Media and Arts School at Tallinn University. Edna Vahter graduated as a visual art, a cultural history and a drafting teacher in 1993, MA in 2002 and PhD in 2015 in educational sciences. She is an author of several textbooks and articles about visual art education (www.etis.ee). Edna has two daughters, a grandson and she enjoys reading and walking in and outside of art galleries and museums.
