The ISE Admissions Committee carefully reviews each application to ensure that every student is well-supported in our academically challenging and nurturing environment. When considering applications, we take into account:

  • The applicant’s potential to benefit from ISE’s IB curriculum (PYP, MYP, DP) or the CIS/NEASC-accredited high school diploma;
  • The School’s ability to meet the applicant’s educational needs;
  • The applicant’s ability to meet the academic, attendance, and behavioral expectations of the School;
  • Fulfillment of the School’s financial and medical requirements.

At ISE, there is no general admissions test, but to ensure we can meet a student’s learning needs, specific documentation must be provided with the application, including:

  • Confidential Teacher Reference Forms
  • Progress Reports from the last two years
  • Health and Data Form
  • Evidence of any required educational support

All documents must be submitted in English, as it is the medium of instruction at ISE. With parental permission, we may contact the applicant’s previous school for additional information. Further documentation or testing may be requested if necessary.

For students with special needs, please refer to our Student Support Needs/Inclusion Policy.
