DP & ISE Diploma Programme

Grades 11-12

The International School of Estonia offers a highly successful programme of academic instruction leading to a high school diploma and the possibility of the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma.

Grades 9 and 10 follow the MYP programme (see Middle School page for more details).

In grades 11 and 12 students may pursue the following options

ISE Diploma

A fully accredited high school diploma certified by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) which provides students with access to worldwide universities.

ISE Diploma with registration for the full IB Diploma

Students can successfully complete the ISE Diploma simultaneously while preparing for the internal and external requirements of the IB Diploma

International School of Estonia (ISE) and Tallinn English College (TIK) IB Diploma Programme collaboration

In the 2019, International School of Estonia (ISE) and Tallinn English College (TIK) entered into a teaching collaboration in the IB subject domains of Mathematics, Individuals & Societies as well as Experimental Sciences. Through this agreement, students can attend courses offered by the partner school. As a result of this cooperation, there are more possible options to choose from in the IBDP Group 3 and Group 5 subject areas. Please contact the school office for more information.

ISE Diploma Curriculum

The high school curriculum is predominantly college preparatory. Most graduates continue their educational careers at universities in North America and Europe. Graduates receive an ISE High School Diploma.

Requirements for ISE High School Diploma

The minimum requirement for students who have been enrolled in ISE since the ninth grade (or those who transfer to our school in grade 10 or 11) is to accumulate 22 credits as listed below. A TOEFL score of 80+ is required for non-native speakers.
