Ethel Reesar

Ethel is a dedicated Special Education teacher with over a decade of experience supporting diverse learners. With a Master’s degree in Special Education and nearly 10 years of hands-on work in inclusive and individualized learning environments, Ethel brings both deep expertise and heartfelt commitment to every student she works with. Ethel joined ISE in 2023 as Student Support Coordinator/Child Safeguarding Lead.

Originally from Estonia, Ethel was born in the charming town of Rakvere and spent her childhood in the picturesque seaside town of Haapsalu—places that nurtured a deep appreciation for community, calm, and connection. For Ethel, special education is more than a profession—it’s a calling. She believes in meeting each child where they are, celebrating every small victory, and creating a space where students feel safe, seen, and supported. Through patience, creativity, and a strong belief in every learner’s potential, she tries to help students grow not just academically, but in confidence and independence.

Outside the classroom, Ethel enjoys reading, listening to music, traveling, and staying active through Muay Thai, running, gym workouts, and time in nature. These activities are not only passions but also essential for maintaining balance and well-being—something she encourages in students as well.
