Nidhi Shekawat

Nidhi is an educator, innovator, and lifelong learner with over 15 years of experience in the IB world and corporate tech training. Her passion lies in Design Thinking, student agency, and the purposeful integration of technology into learning. She currently serves as the Head of Design and MYP Personal Project Coordinator, where she mentors students through imaginative problem-solving, creative inquiry, and real-world challenges. Over the years, Nidhi has proudly taken on roles as an IB DP Examiner (Digital Societies & EE), ATL workshop facilitator, and SAIBSA presenter, with a special focus on empowering both students and educators.

Beyond the classroom, she actively supports and leads co-curricular activities that spark both artistic expression and technical innovation, including Art, Drama, Indian Music, LEGO EV3/NXT robotics, and robotic competitions. These avenues have given students a platform to build, perform, and shine in diverse ways. With a background in Organic Chemistry, Software Engineering, and Educational Leadership, Nidhi combines structured thinking with creativity. She deeply believes in cultivating learning spaces that are inclusive, joyful, and driven by curiosity. On the personal side, she is supported and inspired daily by her wonderful husband and son, who remind her of the importance of balance, laughter, and lifelong learning.
