Triin Pomerants was born and raised here in Estonia. She has graduated the University of Tartu, Estonia with bachelor, master and doctoral degrees in the area of Sports and Exercise Sciences and finished the teacher certification program for Physical Education and Health Education. During her time at university she also spent an Erasmus-semester at the German Sports University Cologne and helped out by the School Olympics project at the Estonian Olympics Academy.

Triin has been teaching at ISE since 2006. Triin teaches students from preschool to grade 10 with the goals to help her students experience the joys of physical activity and to equip them with theoretical background for staying happy and healthy throughout their lives.

Triin is the recipient of Estonian Olympic Committee student stipend (2006) and European Council of International Schools’ award for the promotion of International Education (2010).

Triin has throroughly enjoyed a variety of sports throughout her lifetime, her biggest loves have been athletics and floorball. Triin also enjoys culinary adventures, watching movies and reading books.
