Ujjala Shroff, an experienced international educator and leader with a career spanning back to 2005, became a part of the ISE community in August 2019. Her educational journey has taken her to various corners of the world, including India, Tanzania, the UK, Libya, Egypt, Russia, China, and the USA. Originally from India, Ujjala’s academic credentials include a bachelor’s degree in accountancy honours from Calcutta University and a teaching certificate with five distinctions. She further enriched her academic background by completing her MA in Education from the University of Roehampton in the UK.

Ujjala’s professional expertise extends to being a trained PYP specialist, with a keen focus on fostering conceptual learning through technology integration and building mathematical connections. She is an advocate of the principles promoted by an International Baccalaureate Education, emphasizing the school’s pivotal role as a community hub where all stakeholders collaborate to ensure students reach their fullest potential in physical, emotional, academic, and social aspects. Outside the realm of education, Ujjala’s interests include reading, painting, and hiking, and she is an avid traveler who revels in discovering diverse cultures and meeting people from around the world.
