Valerian Goguadze

Mr Valerian Goguadze is an English as an Additional Language (EAL) teacher from the Republic of Georgia whose aim is to improve EAL learners’ language skills, increase their academic performance and make a difference. Mr Goguadze has been working as an EAL teacher for 15 years.
Valerian Goguadze is a PhD student at the University of San Diego in Leadership studies. His research focus is on the acquisition of English by additional Language learners in inquiry-based classrooms within International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme schools.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and a Master’s degree in e-Governance Technologies from Tallinn University of Technology and English as a Foreign Language Teaching from Batumi Teachers’ Training College.
After graduating BA degree he served as a consultant English language teacher in the project ‘Teach for Georgia’ implemented by the National Centre for Teacher Professional Development. He was selected on contest bases to teach the English language in Georgian public schools. He is a trained teacher with experience developing EAL programs for international schools.
Mr Valerian is coming from a small town Batumi near the Black Sea Coast now living in Tallinn. Valerian enjoys learning foreign languages, reading books, cooking, dog shows, travelling, and swimming.
Valerian speaks Georgian, English, and Russian languages.
